CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Greater Cleveland Conference championship goes through Cleveland Heights. That's because Mentor and Medina, who have won every GCC title since 2017, must go there this season for big football games. The first of those matchups comes Friday night, as Mentor heads to Crawford Field looking to take a considerable step to winning back the GCC title. That first step came last week with a 42-41 comeback win against Medina to set up this heavyweight fight with the Tigers (3-1), who are ranked fifth in the cleveland.
