BEREA, Ohio — At this pace, Marquise Davis should be a top contender for Ohio's Mr. Football. The running back and do-it-all defender in the back half of Cleveland Heights' defense began his junior season Friday night with a performance to remember in the Tigers' 46-21 victory against Berea-Midpark. Davis finished with 228 yards on 21 carries and scored four touchdowns, including once on an interception return that gave his team the lead for good in the second quarter at Baldwin Wallace's George Finnie Stadium in Berea.
