CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- In conjunction with National Women's History Month, local officials recognized the contributions of 10 local women last week. More than 100 people turned out for the expanded second annual Women's Day Celebration, hosted this year at the Cleveland Heights Community Center March 23. In order of appearance, the honorees receiving city proclamations were: -- Meghan Marshall, the first-ever 'Inspirational Young Woman'' nominee, presented by Cleveland Heights-University Heights school board member Malia Lewis.
