GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio – A man accused of murder was arrested in Cleveland on Thursday, authorities said. Travis Hicks, 32, was wanted by Garfield Heights police on the allegations. He is charged in the slaying of Ronnie Briggs, 27, on Sept. 25. Authorities allege Hicks killed Briggs after the two men had argued. The shooting took place at the Showcase Bar and Grille, which Briggs co-owned. The bar is at 5015 Turney Road. Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force picked up Hicks at an apartment near the 1900 block of Ford Drive in Cleveland, authorities said.
